My paintings are a celebration of the beauty of nature, capturing the vibrant colors and organic forms of the natural world. Each piece reflects my deep connection to the landscapes, flora, and fauna that surround us, bringing the essence of nature into composition on print and enhancing its qualities with expressive brushstrokes and color.

The process

Flower printing and painting is a deeply cathartic experience for me, from start to finish. It all begins in the great outdoors.

I explore nature in all weather, though I tend to choose the most beautiful days of the season, especially when I feel the need to fully immerse myself—whether in solitude or with family. Being present in the moment allows me to see what nature offers. I search for seasonal plants, selecting those that will provide interesting prints, and carefully collect a few samples to take back to my kitchen.

Growing up in London and drawing inspiration from her Kashmiri roots, Sana finds a rich tapestry of influences in the floral handicrafts of Kashmir.
